Château Bellegrave Pomerol

Pomerol does not need to be loud. Château Bellegrave shows how much character can come from gravel, sand and red clay. The Bouldy family has owned the estate since Jean Bouldy acquired it in 1951; his son Jean-Marie now carries the work forward alongside the next generation. What we like is that the family does not try to make every vintage taste the same. They farm organically and give the wines room to express their origin and the character of each year.
