Krispel ZERO 2025, 0,75 L

De-alcoholised wines are becoming increasingly popular. The renowned Krispel winery from the Styrian Vulkanland region has embraced this trend with its “Zero 2025”, showcasing its expertise in white wine.

The finished wine is matured in stainless steel tanks and is made from Muscat and Bouvier grapes. The alcohol is then gently removed using a modern vacuum evaporator. Since alcohol acts as a carrier of flavour, many wines of this kind can lack depth and intensity. This is not the case with Zero.

There is almost no difference in the nose. Exotic fruits, citrus, and elderflower notes are clearly present, along with a hint of peach. On the palate, well-balanced acidity stands out at first, followed by delicate sweetness and fruity aromas. The wine is harmonious, grapey, and light-bodied.

A good alternative when alcohol is not desired. Enjoy it on its own, as an aperitif, or paired with Asian dishes.
