The Roter Veltliner Hohenwart (formerly known as Roter Veltliner Ried Hochstrass), now classified as a local wine, remains the same beautifully expressive wine as before. On the palate, it is fresh, multi-layered, and uplifting. Notes of ripe yellow pear and exotic fruits unfold immediately, complemented by a delicate almond nuance that underscores its charming character. Juicy, complex, and full of personality, this rare Austrian grape variety is a true enrichment to the country’s wine landscape—like Austro Pop, it was made to tell stories.
