The white fungus-resistant PIWI variety Souvignier Gris forms the basis of this sweet wine, which stands out above all for its lightness and freshness. The typical Styrian acidity of 8.5 g per litre makes a decisive contribution to this lively character.

In the glass, it shows a delicate light yellow colour. The nose is fruity, with notes of quince, apricot and a hint of citrus zest. On the palate, it is very juicy, sweet and fresh. Honey, caramel and elderflower make an appearance. The wine lingers for a long time, has excellent length and immediately calls for the next sip. The glass will be empty faster than you would like.

It works beautifully as an alternative to dessert after a business lunch, as an accompaniment to spicy and hot Asian dishes, or simply enjoyed on its own as a fun wine with real class.
