This cherished piece of land on Wairau Bar is the foundation of the Haysley MacDonald family — a lineage that traces back over 800 years to the first Māori explorers who arrived on these shores. A deep, generational connection to land and sea runs through the Whānau, shaping everything they do with love, care, and respect. Today, that heritage lives on in every bottle.
