Description
The soils on the famous Nussberg in Vienna are rich in shell limestone with limestone in the subsoil. This shows through in this tempting Grüner Veltliner which was cultivated according to biodynamic guidelines.
Classically matured in steel tanks and aged on the fine lees to emphasise the fragrant character as much as possible. With herbal spice and fruit apple on the nose. On the palate, there is a symphony of notes of apricot, honey and herbs. Dry with 1 g residual sugar and surprisingly light and lively.
Pairs perfectly with classic dishes from Viennese cuisine as well as fish. Also very impressive when drunk solo- a benchmark for a fine Viennese Veltliner!
